Once Again, The Superior Labour Court of Brazil Clarified That There Is No Employment Relationship Between Uber And Uber Drivers (Brazil)
On the 8th of May, 2019, in the case “Ricardo Ramos – Uber do Brasil Tecnologia Ltda”, (expte. N° TST-AIRR-10575-88.2019.5.03.0003), it was recognised that the driver had such a level of autonomy at the point of providing services that it could in no way be considered that there was a relationship of dependence, that is to say employment, between them and Uber.
