On the 8th of May, 2019, in the case “Luiz Fernando Fordiani De Souza c/ UBER do Brasil Tecnología Ltda”, (Expte. N°. 1000508-73.2017.5.02.0026), the Court rejected the existence of an employment relationship, as alleged by the claimant, on account of the requirements established in Articles 2 and 3 of the Brazilian Labour Code(Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho) not being met, and therefore dismissed the claim.
