On the 1st of October, 2024, in the case “Paredes Antonio César”, the No. 2 Municipal Infractions Court acquitted the defendant since it was considered that the “service of transporting passengers by motorcycle” is not described as an infraction in existing regulation. Furthermore, the Court added that a motorcycle does not fall under the conventional definition of a vehicle intended for the transportation of passengers or cargo.
