On the 2nd of October, 2024, in the case “Martínez Héctor Ezequiel”, the No. 2 Municipal Infractions Court explained that the infractions procedure starts when an Official verifies an act that may be classified as an infraction. The Court also indicated that, in this case, no infraction was committed since “a motorcycle does not fall under the conventional definition of a vehicle intended for passenger or cargo transportation, since these categories have specific characteristics and capacities that a motorcycle does not possess”. Therefore, the Court acquitted the defendant.
