On the 8th of May, 2019, in the case “Ronald Andrés Thomson Cuñado v. Uber Chile SPAthe Labour Court of Santiago rejected the claim filed against Uber. This decision was made on the grounds that no employment relationship exists as there was no subordination between the parties.
