On the 12th of November, 2024, in the case “Fernandez Fraga Maximiliano Hernán”, the No. 3 Municipal Infractions Court emphasised that, as of that day, no regulation existed for Uber’s motorcycle services, and as such the act in question was atypical. The Court pointed out that the lack of regulation did not equate to it being a prohibited activity, and that the decision of how these services operate falls under the jurisdiction of other branches of Government. Therefore, the Court ruled to acquit the accused driver.
