“Being Uber” is Not Enough: Infringement Reports Must Include All Elements of the Transportation Contract and Be Accompanied by Other Evidence
On the 11th of March, 2025, in the case "Herrera Pablo Humberto" the Puerto Madryn Municipal Infractions Court acquitted an individual charged with providing transportation services through Uber, finding that the evidence presented - namely, an infringement report which simply stated “Uber Driver” - was not sufficiently persuasive to warrant a conviction.
