On the 8th of May, 2019, in the case “Oriolani claudio jose s/apelación falta municipal”, (causa N°10840), the Court annulled the fine imposed on a driver for transporting people without municipal authority. The Judge based his decision on the lack of sufficient evidence provided to convict - despite the defendant having requested it - and, on account of that, the rules of due legal process were not adhered to and the defendant’s right to a fair trial was violated.
