On the 14th of April, 2025, in the case “Rotela Julio César”, the No. 1 Municipal Infractions Court concluded that, as of that day, Ordinance XVI N° 116, which sought to regulate private transportation through digital platforms, had not been regulated. Therefore, the Court could not charge the defendant for “providing transportation services without authorization”, and as such, acquitted the defendant.
