On the 26th of June, 2023, in the case, “ “Melucci Leandro s/apelación falta municipal”, (CAU 16071), the Court acquitted the defendant on the understanding that he had ultimately offered various means of evidence and raised multiple objections in his defence against the contents of the infringement report. Furthermore, the Court underlined that it is a constitutional right, one which cannot be restricted, for the accused to present a defence.
