On the 2nd of August, 2024, in the case “Salvo Alejandro Renee”, the No. 1 Municipal Infractions Court acquitted an Uber driver noting that, on one hand, the infringement report made no reference to the missing authorization that would, if applicable, identify the allegedly violated regulation. Furthermore, neither the Registry of Service Providers nor the Enforcement Authority, as mentioned in the ordinance, yet existed to verify that the requirements, established for the operation of passenger transportation through electronic platforms, were being complied with.
