On the 2nd of October, 2024, in the case “Domínguez Barreyro Facundo”, exp. N° 180006-D-2024, ruling N° 148334/2024, the No. 2 Infractions Court of the city of San Carlos de Bariloche once again acquitted the defendant for providing passenger transportation services via Uber. The Court considered that in order to sentence a person for this type of infraction there must be passengers transported, an essential element to make the act in question punishable.
