On the 5th of July, 2024, in the case “Do Santos Esteban Miguel ”, the No. 2 Municipal Infractions Court once again acquitted the defendant of the charge of “travelling around without authorization to transport passengers”. The Court considered that his conduct was not an infraction according to existing legislation, since a motorcycle does not fall under the conventional definition of a passenger transportation vehicle.
