In the 14th of August, 2024, in the case “Gutierrez Elsa Agustina”, the No. 1 Administrative Infractions Court acquitted the defendant, who drove using the Uber platform. The Court considered that, at that time, it had not been established what kind of authorisation those providing transportation services contracted through electronic platforms should have, emphasising that Ordinance XVI - N° 19 prohibits the application of ordinances by analogy and the interpretation of them against the defendant.
