On the 10th of June, 2024, in the case “Ríos Jonathan Ricardo Damián”, the No. 1 Municipal Infractions Court acquitted the accused driver. The Court pointed out that in the infringement report the defendant was accused of “providing passenger transportation services without authorization ” but “[the report] lacked the identification of that missing authorization which, if applicable, would lead to establishing the allegedly violated regulation”. Finally, the Court emphasised that, in principle, transporting passengers is not an activity prohibited by law, and therefore should not be sanctioned.
