On the 14th of May, 2024, in the case “Moreira Lucas Emanuel”, the No. 1 Municipal Infractions Court acquitted the defendant on the grounds that, at that time, it was not established what kind of authorization was required by those who carry out passenger transportation services through electronic platforms. The Court emphasised that Ordinance X - N° 19 prohibits the application of ordinances by analogy and the interpretation of them against the defendant.
