{"id":442,"date":"2024-06-03T12:28:10","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T12:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ubereslegal.com\/?p=442"},"modified":"2024-08-15T20:39:38","modified_gmt":"2024-08-15T20:39:38","slug":"la-cidh-condena-el-bloqueo-en-colombia-cidh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ubereslegal.com\/en\/la-cidh-condena-el-bloqueo-en-colombia-cidh\/","title":{"rendered":"The IACHR Condemns The Block In Colombia (IACHR)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 31st of December, 2017,<em>Annual Report of the Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression,<\/em>concerning the case of Uber Colombia - where the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce ordered the blocking of the app on the grounds of unfair competition - the Commission recalled that: (i) restrictions to freedom of expression on the internet are only acceptable when they conform to international standards (tests of legality, legitimacy of purpose and proportionality of regulation);
